Miyoko Schinner is the fearless CEO and founder of Miyoko’s Creamery — the leading plant-based dairy company whose award-winning butter and gourmet cheeses are on the shelves of more than 10,000 retailers nationwide including Kroger, Target, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and many more. A pioneer of the plant-based cheese revolution, Miyoko is a passionate culinarian, former restaurateur, best-selling author of five cookbooks, co-host of the national PBS cooking show Vegan Mashup, and a founding board member of the Plant-Based Foods Association. She also co-founded Rancho Compasión, a farmed animal sanctuary in northern California that provides a home to more than 70 farm animals.
