Apple Cinnamon Walnut Oatmeal by Bob's Red Mill

Step 1
Combine water, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a deep pot. Bring to a boil over high heat.
Step 2
Stir in Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats and reduce heat to low. Cook until creamy and most of the water has been absorbed, 20 – 30 minutes.
Step 3
Remove from heat and stir in walnut pieces, vanilla extract and apples.

2 cups Water
3 tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
2/3 cup Steel Cut Oats or Organic Steel Cut Oats
1/3 cup Chopped Walnuts
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup chopped Apples or 1/2 cup Diced Dried Apples
